Manage the LaunchPad plaform¶
The LaunchPad platform by Texas Instruments features 16- and 32-bits MCUs, and includes
- LaunchPad CC13x0 EMT
- LaunchPad CC13x2 EMT
- LaunchPad CC3200
- LaunchPad CC3220 EMT
- LaunchPad MSP430
- LaunchPad MSP430 ELF
- LaunchPad MSP432
- LaunchPad Tiva C
The IDE is Energia MT, a fork of the Arduino IDE.

Warning
Energia is no longer maintained. The last release 1.8.10E23 was published in December 2019.
The official tools from Texas Instruments include Code Composer Studio , based on Eclipse, and the SimpleLink SDK.
Energia MT, or Energia Multi-Tasking, brings RTOS and is based on TI-RTOS, the real-time operating system from Texas Instruments. Energia MT runs on the 32-bit boards.

Check the tests¶
The test protocol includes building and linking, uploading and running a sketch on the boards using those versions of the IDEs and plug-ins. Boards packages are versioned but not dated.
